Mandy is a certified teacher of music and voice with a Bachelors degree in Music and another in Secondary Education from the University of Victoria.
Mandy is highly regarded as a vocal specialist and has gained much experience over the years leading ensembles such as Vancouver Island Show Choir, and music directing theatre groups through Victoria on Stage and Four Seasons Musical Theatre.
Along with coaching privately, Mandy works with high school groups in the Vancouver Island School districts, helping to develop strong vocal technique and musicianship.
She has sung in many award-winning classical choirs, including the Vancouver Bach Choir, Vox Humana, Ensemble Laude, and the University of Victoria Chamber Singers. Mandy is sought out as a soloist, has performed lead roles in regional musical theatre productions, and currently performs in the highly sought-after funk and R&B ensemble Phonix YYJ.
